The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK. 

It recognises the outstanding work of local volunteer groups who provide vital services to their communities. In 2019, Descendants charity was honoured to receive this prestigious award for their exceptional work  in supporting young people of African and Caribbean descent in West London. The award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of people who make a positive  impact on the lives of other.
